Punters club names
The first argument any club has is about the name. Here are eighty-odd to start it, sorted by how seriously your club wants to be taken.

You'll spend longer on this than on the rules. That's fine, it's the fun bit. A few things we've learnt: the name goes on the group chat, the kitty account and eventually a shirt, so it has to survive all three. Puns wear out faster than you think. And the name your club actually ends up with is usually whatever the funniest bloke said first.

How to actually pick one
- Say it out loud. If it's awkward to say at the pub, it's a bad name.
- Check it fits on a shirt. You will end up making shirts.
- Don't name it after the current leader. Ladders change.
- The name with a bloke's name in it lasts longest, because it's a story, not a pun.
- Put three options in the chat and vote. Then ignore the vote and use whatever the funniest bloke said. That's what'll stick anyway.
Once you've got a name, you need rules, and after that you need somewhere to keep the ladder and the kitty. The other guides cover the rules and the formats. The spreadsheet is free. The app has your club's name on the masthead, with its own colours and a theme, which is a very good reason to pick a name you like.
